What we deliver

Cloud Solutions & DevOps

QodxEra moves your applications to the cloud and keeps them running reliably — AWS infrastructure, automated deployments, and monitoring you can trust.

QodxEra is a global engineering team headquartered in New Cairo, Egypt that designs, migrates, and operates cloud infrastructure. We set up scalable cloud environments, automate deployments with CI/CD, and put monitoring in place so problems surface before your users find them. Because the same team also builds the applications, infrastructure decisions are made with the software in mind rather than handed over a wall. Need the application built too? See our custom software development and web development services.

What cloud and DevOps services does QodxEra offer?

QodxEra covers the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure, from the first migration plan through day-to-day operations. One engineering team handles architecture, automation, and monitoring, so your infrastructure is designed as a system rather than assembled from disconnected scripts.

  • Cloud migration: moving existing applications, databases, and files to the cloud with a staged plan that avoids downtime
  • Infrastructure as code: environments defined in version-controlled configuration so they can be rebuilt exactly and reviewed like application code
  • CI/CD pipelines: automated build, test, and deployment so releases are repeatable instead of manual and risky
  • Container orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes for workloads that need to scale or run reliably across nodes
  • Monitoring and analytics: dashboards, logging, and alerting so failures are caught early and traced quickly
  • Cost and capacity review: right-sizing infrastructure so you are not paying for capacity you never use

How QodxEra approaches a cloud migration

Migrations fail when they are treated as a single switch-over. QodxEra works in reviewable phases, so at every point you have a working system and a clear picture of what moves next and what it will cost.

  • Assessment: we audit your current infrastructure, dependencies, and traffic patterns before proposing a target architecture
  • Target design: an architecture sized to your actual load, with the scaling and failover behaviour written down
  • Staged migration: services move in planned increments, each one verified before the next begins
  • Automation: the new environment is captured as infrastructure as code, so it is reproducible from day one
  • Cutover: a rehearsed switch-over with a rollback path defined in advance
  • Operate and tune: monitoring, alerting, and cost tuning once real traffic is on the platform

The cloud and DevOps stack we work with

QodxEra selects tooling to fit the workload and your team's ability to maintain it after handover. We favour widely-supported, well-documented technology over anything that would leave you dependent on a single vendor or a single engineer.

  • Cloud platforms: AWS, including compute, managed databases, object storage, and networking
  • Infrastructure as code for repeatable, reviewable environment definitions
  • CI/CD tooling for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Containers and Kubernetes for orchestration, scaling, and resilient workloads
  • Monitoring, logging, and alerting so system health is visible rather than guessed at
  • Security hardening applied to infrastructure, informed by our cybersecurity work

Why choose QodxEra for cloud and DevOps

QodxEra spans web, mobile, custom software, cloud/DevOps, AI, and cybersecurity, so the team running your infrastructure understands the application on top of it. That removes the usual gap between the people who build software and the people who keep it online.

  • 10+ years building software and 70+ projects delivered for 30+ clients
  • Application and infrastructure handled by one team, so deployment problems get solved rather than passed along
  • Environments defined as code, so nothing depends on undocumented manual setup
  • Handover with documentation, so your team can operate the platform without us
  • Serving Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and clients worldwide, remote-first

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do cloud and DevOps services cost?

Cloud and DevOps pricing depends on the size of your current infrastructure, how many services need to move, and whether you need ongoing operations after the migration. QodxEra scopes each engagement after an infrastructure review, then quotes the migration work and any ongoing support separately so you can see what is one-off and what is recurring. Note that your cloud provider bill (AWS or similar) is billed to you directly and is separate from our engineering fees. Contact [email protected] or +201555365030 for an estimate.

Will migrating to the cloud cause downtime?

A well-planned migration should not require extended downtime. QodxEra moves services in stages rather than as a single switch-over, runs the new environment in parallel where possible, and rehearses the cutover before it happens. Some workloads need a short maintenance window, and where that is the case we tell you in advance, schedule it for your lowest-traffic period, and define a rollback path before starting.

Which cloud provider do you use?

QodxEra works primarily with AWS, covering compute, managed databases, object storage, and networking. If your organisation already has a commitment to a different provider, or has procurement or data-residency requirements that point elsewhere, we assess that during the design phase rather than forcing a move. The infrastructure-as-code approach we use keeps the setup documented and portable rather than locked to one console.

What is infrastructure as code, and why does it matter?

Infrastructure as code means your servers, networks, and services are defined in version-controlled configuration files instead of being clicked together by hand in a web console. It matters because it makes environments reproducible: staging can be rebuilt to match production exactly, changes are reviewed like application code, and if something breaks you can roll back to a known-good definition rather than trying to remember what was changed.

Do you set up CI/CD pipelines for existing projects?

Yes. QodxEra sets up automated build, test, and deployment pipelines for projects that are already running, not only for new builds. We start by mapping how you currently release, then automate that path so deployments become repeatable and low-risk. Typically this includes automated tests on every change, a staging deployment for review, and a controlled production release with a rollback option.

Do you offer ongoing monitoring and support after launch?

Yes. QodxEra can set up monitoring, logging, and alerting so issues are detected early, and can continue to operate and tune the platform after go-live. We also offer handover with documentation if you would rather run it in-house — the goal is that your team can operate the system, with us available for escalation and enhancement rather than as a permanent dependency.

Can you work with our existing development team?

Yes. QodxEra frequently works alongside in-house teams, handling the infrastructure and deployment automation while your developers continue building features. We document what we set up and walk your engineers through it, so the pipeline and environment stay maintainable by your team rather than becoming a black box only we understand.

Do you work with clients outside Egypt?

Yes. QodxEra serves clients in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and worldwide, delivering remotely and collaborating across time zones. Cloud and DevOps work is well suited to remote delivery, since the infrastructure is accessed the same way regardless of where the team sits. Reach us at [email protected] or +201555365030.
